Construction projects require careful planning.  Horowitz Law Group counsels owners and contractors during the design, pre-construction and construction phases of the project, so that manageable issues do not become expensive problems.  The Firm’s construction services include:

  • Negotiating and drafting contracts between owners and contractors, as well as agreements with subcontractors, architects and suppliers

  • Negotiating and preparing project labor agreements for unionized projects

  • Filing and discharging mechanic’s liens

  • Counseling on claims involving defective work, extra work, sureties, suspension of work, delays and contract termination
